Message from the program director

“From blood:gas solubility coefficients and minimum alveolar concentrations to cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen consumption and pediatric doses of rocuronium—there’s no doubt that anesthesia is a specialty filled with numbers. But here at Carson-Newman, you will never be treated like one. We believe in a true student-centric approach to education — one that sees you as a whole person, not just an applicant ID or an exam score. Our program is grounded in the belief that when artificial barriers to learning are removed, students thrive. We intentionally foster an environment where each student is known, supported and challenged to reach their full potential — not only as a clinician, but as a compassionate, faith-driven leader in healthcare.”
